Course Description
This course provides participants with the fundamental principles of occupational safety and their practical application within mechanical engineering environments. It focuses on identifying workplace hazards, applying appropriate safety procedures, reducing risks, and preventing accidents in factories and mechanical workshops. Participants will also gain awareness of common mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards, the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), accident response procedures, and methods for evaluating and continuously improving workplace safety practices.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand key occupational safety principles and standards in mechanical engineering.
- Identify common hazards in mechanical and industrial work environments.
- Apply appropriate safety procedures and preventive measures.
- Assess workplace risks and implement suitable risk-control techniques.

- Sunday, September 27: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday, September 28: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday, September 29: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Important Notes
- Participants must obtain their manager’s approval by accepting the training invitation.
- Arriving more than 30 minutes late will be considered an absence and reported accordingly.
- Please do not park in reserved parking spaces. Unauthorized parking will be reported to the Security Team.
- This training is considered part of working hours; participants must ensure it is raised through SAMAA.
- Dress Code compliance is mandatory. Non-compliance may result in dismissal from the training.
